Excursion at ROAD REST HACHIOJI’s : a voyage to discovery in japanese recycle world.Visiting the multiple space, each providing a recycle design idea to our discovery, made me switch back to childhood treasure hunting, and my sunday-carpenter-husband jumping in a dream come true.We enjoyed delicious capuccino while watching motorbikes and vintage cars passing by. Soon joined by the owner for a enlightenig chat on the hight quality of european pallets, beeing all of them absolutely of the same hight they are quite wanted by connoiseurs. We agreed on the difficulty in Japan to found recycle material, often more expensive than new material, as a result of japanese recent cultural shift to pseudo modernity. We all feel the need for a dismantling business more adapted to this new growing demand and market. ..to be continued…
